Can you remember what model it was? Shells and discontinued models seem to go for a lot, but the thing is that shells can be customized and modded and might not be necessary -- for example I really wanted the Sanrio Uni, but the only thing special about the Sanrio Uni was the plastic shell, and the code to the Sanrio Puroland content can be downloaded separately. But yeah, I might review after I've played it for a while, and should probably say something about the mp3 player.

But yeah, they seem like they're going to have some kind of new Tamagotchi announcement on the 16th.
